Then the skull and crown disappears. You will be delighted, entranced and thrilled by Ms Menuhin’s writing.

The books are set in the 1920s and are quite "clean" if that is something you look for.

Such fun to read. I love this foursome. Also, there is a skeleton in the wall, a seance, ghostly lights and a couple of ghastly murders.

Inspector swift re-appears, much to both men's dismay. Ms. Menuhin has a way of incorporating touches of Downtown Abbey with war details along with humor. A very good page turner.
